$3,000 for a Blowjob?!?!

Eliot Spitzer and Wife

Today Eliot Spitzer, Governor of New York got nailed in a prostitution ring.

Spitzer was a former prosecutor turned Governor. A man who pledged to bring down corruption and crime. He’s most famous for his critical look at Wall Street companies and any of their shady dealings.

Apparently a man of his status cannot figure out how to get a secretary to give him some “extras,” because he was a regular paying up to $4k for a couple hours of high priced whore action. To top it off, he’s a critical partner of Hillary Clinton. At last report, he isn’t quitting his job. He calls this a “personal issue.”

Personal is when you get caught cheating with the local Denny’s waitress and you work as a trash collector. This is a man who represented one of the most important legal offices in the country, and he is getting blowjobs at the Mayflower hotel from “Kristen” a 5′5 petite brunette.

A man paying for sex isn’t shocking. A politician in the public eye paying for sex isn’t shocking. A Governor paying for sex before, during, and after his election to the USA’s second most powerful state isn’t shocking. What’s shocking is this dumbass thinks that there is a blowjob worth $4k. For that reason alone, he clearly has no concept of fiscal responsibility.

How about the wife. Do we really have to watch her stand next to this guy? How fucking phony is that? Unless she was there and chipped in for a threesome, the most famous photo she will ever take shouldn’t be about her husband banging a model/high-priced-whore.

10,000 b.c. Sucks

10,000 B.C.

In an effort to produce another epic movie, Legendary Pictures with Warner Bros., decided to produce an epic from very ancient times featuring a Mammoth Hunter to free his people and find true love.

Instead of using the opportunity to write a unique story given the flexibility the  historical timeline of the movie provides, you’ll get two hours of B-Movie acting, writing, directing, and special effects done on a large movie budget.  The lines are as campy and predictable as a day time soap opera, and  the plot is a mash-up of movies like  Conan: The Barbarian, Willow,  and The Beastmaster.  All of which are better in every way to this stank fest.

Trust me when I say this movie has absolutely nothing original.  All of the monsters you’ve seen before and you’ve seen done far better in other movies.  None of the effects are worthy of even being called effects.  Discovery Channel does a better job with “Great White Shark vs Crocodile.”

Often though, a movie like this doesn’t have to be particularly original or have great acting

and dialogue if the action is awesome.  Unfortunately, the fight sequences have all the intensity of a middle school production of High School Musical.

This movie sucks. Big time.  Warner Bros. is lucky to have some other big movies coming down the pipeline, because this is no suprise hit.

All the Shit that’s Fit to Print

The New York Times decided to further denigrate its status as what was once THE source of news into a pitiful, cheap, rag with all of the class of third tier soap opera digest.

The New York Times posted an article about Presidential hopeful John McCain ’s relationship with a female lobbyist. The article did a whole lot of hinting and winking, but in the end proved not one single thing. There was no evidence, not smoking gun, no stains on dresses, and not one single thing that can constitute proof. Why? Because all of the sources for the New York Times wouldn’t go on record, and they had nothing. Normal journalistic standards would not permit the story from being done in the first place, but this is the Times. They print shit.

This isn’t the least bit shocking. This is the paper that had Jayson Blair on the payroll. I guess when you hired writers that completely fabricate stories, running stories that offer not proof and trade on rumor is to be expected.

What’s shocking is that the New York Times has dropped any pretense with being a responsible news organization. It’s not even a matter of bias. Bias is to be expected of any publication. This is just malicious sloppy writing.

The best part?  The New York Times is completely clueless.  They just don’t get it.  They used to be able to pretend to be fair.  This article basically has shown their true colors.  They aren’t even pretending anymore.

Crash Land at Heathrow, Pilot a Complete Stud.

Heathrow Crash, This is London

A Boeing 777 crash landed right on approach into London Heathrow. The pilot glided her in and landed without fatality or serious injury. A total loss of engine power and Captain Peter Burkill of British Airlines had the crisis handled.

It’s been an incredibly safe plane, and it remains to be seen what will happen to Boeing in the aftermath. Here is the stock chart before the market opens on Monday. Closed at 79.52.

British Ads Rock

You have to love British ads. They make up for all the shitty shows they have across the pond. But unfortunately UK teacher Sarah Green will probably get fired for this video. Stupid little wankers should have kept their mouths shut. Now they’ll have a saggy battle ax replace her.

Swank: Shave Like a Pro

Unless you are Grizzly Adams, you probably shave every day. And although electric is pretty good, nothing beats a blade. There is no electric razor that shaves as close as a blade. I have tried them all. Recently out of frustration or boredom, I decided to pitch my Mach 3 and go old school. I had perused several websites looking for a better way.

I tried to go ancient with a straight razor, but that requires a learning curve that I refuse to navigate. Instead I finally settled on a old double sided Merkur safety razor. It’s probably what your grandfather shaved with.

You’ll fork out between $20-$35 for a nice Merkur razor. That seems like a lot, but you more than make it up with the razor blades. They last longer, are easier to clean, and a whole lot cheaper. It takes a little bit to get used to how it shaves. The blades are very sharp and the razor is a lot heavier. You’ll need to resist the urge to press and let the weight of the razor do the trick. There is also no pivot head, so you’ll have to do the work of maintaining the proper angle. Go in short strokes and go lightly.

I still use aNorelco that I got as a gift. It’s handy for traveling and in the car when you don’t have time on the morning commute. I also use it every morning in addition to my Merkur. I run the Norelco over for about 45 seconds to do most of the cutting work. Then I use a very cheap shave soap (.99 and far superior to any gel or foam) and clean up with the old double sided safety razor. Some swear a badger brush is necessary, but I rarely use mine.

I have found this is the fastest, cheapest, best results you can get. Give it a try. Below are product links for all the products mentioned.

How to Ruin a Company and make Millions

Circuit City

You looking for an easy way to ruin a company and make millions in the process? It seems impossibly difficult and counter intuitive, because not only is it possible, but there is already a playbook on how to do it.

A recent Washington Post Article on the latest earnings report from retailer Circuit City outlines how the company has continued it’s nose-dive into the oblivion. These geniuses of retail management decided earlier to shit can all of its higher dollar/hr wage earners and replace them all with lower wage earners. The resulting “cost savings” from a retail SALES outfit resulted in a further decline in Circuit City’s bottom line.

While Best Buy absolutely destroys estimates and sells tons of product and services, Circuit City falls through the floor. No economy to blame. No sector woes to hang their hats on. They sell nearly identical products at nearly identical prices. The screwing of the employees and stock-holders rests squarely with the leadership.

Rather than come clean, Circuit City’s management has shown either they are complete idiots, or that they think we, the public, are complete idiots with this quote by the CEO “Clearly we are very disappointed,” “Our current focus is to rebuild our selling culture,” he said.

You’re disasppointed? You’ll get a $1 Million retention bonus for that? You make me sick. If the board of directors had any nuts, they’d fire this lot of losers. They’d see their stock up 10% on the news.

Stay away from any company so completely unaware of their basic functions. When a company that lives on sales drives off the top sales people, it’s over. There are plenty of ways to save money and often plenty fat to cut away. Someone gave these ‘tards the butcher knife and let them have at it.

Michael Moore Doesn’t Understand Free

michealmooresicko

The big news on CNN has been Michael Moore’s on air fight with Wolf Blitzer and Sanjay Gupta.  For those who have not seen the clips, they are everywhere on the web.

To Michael Moore’s credit, this has been his best effort yet.  It’s also his most careful attempt to make sure the criticisms of the facts in his movie don’t distract from his movies message.

I have few pulbic criticisms of Sicko, but one I do have is Michael Moore’s continual assertion that health care in other countries Canada, Cuba, France, and the U.K. are “free.”   This is of course completely wrong.  Whether or not they are better is up for debate.  But you cannot argue that they are free.  After watching him on Larry King Live, he refuses to acknowledge that health care costs money whether its collected from taxes or private pay.

In the same inteview Michael complains about the cost of the war.  Cost?  Why, according to his logic, the war is free.  You’re not paying for it.  It comes from your tax dollars.

To assert this would be insane and Micheal Moore would never stand for it.  Why does he follow the insane logic on television and make himself look completely ignorant?  I think he’s convinced that the public will be more responsive the bigger the horror show the health care system is.

The truth his people are smart.  They know that whether you pay in private or in taxes, it costs money.  All his rabid assertions do is further reduce his message.

Proof in a Higher Power

Cry Baby

Justice has been restored in the universe.  Paris Hilton has to go back to jail.  The fact the judge and prosecutor had to even deal with this shows how eager the sheriff is to blow anybody whose ever been in a canceled pilot.

Nevermind she is going to make a ton of money off books, interviews, etc.  Paris is going to be subjected to life on planet earth for 30 days.  The only way to make justice truly complete would be for her retarded parents to have to serve time for raising such a spoiled little bitch.
